JAKARTA, RAKYAT NEWS— Property developer Vasanta Group, through its subsidiary Pakuan Inc, has partnered with Japanese investor Samty Asia Investments Pte. Ltd. to develop premium properties in Depok, West Java.

The two parties are establishing a new entity named Vasamty Land Sawangan and plan to embark on the construction of the elegant apartment project, The Peninsula.

“We are proud to collaborate with Samty Asia Investments Pte. Ltd., a renowned investment and development company from Japan. This partnership aligns with our goal to meet the increasing demand for high-quality housing in the community,” said Vasanta Group CEO Nicholas Hum in Jakarta, as quoted by Antara news agency.

The construction of The Peninsula is scheduled to commence in 2025. The project will offer exclusive two-bedroom and three-bedroom apartment units.

According to Nicholas, the apartments will be built between the Depok and Sawangan areas, near Lake Sawangan, providing natural beauty while remaining close to urban conveniences.

The Peninsula project is approximately 12 minutes away from the JORR 2 Toll Road and offers accessible access to shopping centers, restaurants, and recreational areas.

“We are highly optimistic that The Peninsula will be a dream residence offering limitless comfort,” said Nicholas.

Meanwhile, Managing Director of Samty Asia Investments Pte. Ltd., Tetsuro Kawamoto, stated that they believe The Peninsula is an attractive project in line with Samty Group’s expansion into Indonesia. Moreover, the project is being developed by experienced members of Vasanta Group as Samty Group’s partners.

“In addition, we aim to make this project a bridge between Indonesia and Japan and strengthen the relationship between the two countries,” he added.
