For this reason, he urged the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs to take a firm stance against President Trump’s proposal and reinforce Indonesia’s position in supporting Palestinian independence. He also called for the ministry to intensify its international diplomacy to seek a peaceful resolution to the Gaza conflict through dialogue and negotiation involving all relevant parties.

As a non-permanent member of the United Nations Security Council, Indonesia holds a strategic position to advocate for a just and lasting solution. Deng Ical encouraged the government to rally international support, particularly from members of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), to oppose any action that would harm the Palestinian people.
