Another critical area of agreement was human resource exchange. Indonesia and Japan committed to enhancing skill development through education and training programs, fostering stronger people-to-people ties. PM Ishiba extended an invitation for President Prabowo to attend the Expo 2025 in Osaka, further strengthening diplomatic relations.

Japan confirmed loans amounting to ¥7.048 billion (approximately Rp723 billion) to improve the capabilities of Indonesia’s civil servants. An additional ¥90.456 billion (Rp9.3 trillion) loan was secured for the expansion of the Patimban Port, aimed at boosting export capacity and improving Indonesia’s logistics infrastructure.

The meeting concluded with a reaffirmation of the two nations’ commitment to stability in the Indo-Pacific region. President Prabowo emphasized the importance of maintaining good relations with global powers to foster peace and mutual prosperity.
