Macron revealed that a key cultural agreement will be signed at Borobudur Temple on Thursday, symbolizing the shared appreciation for heritage and history. The iconic UNESCO site was chosen as a testament to Indonesia’s cultural richness and the enduring friendship between the two countries.
The French president’s delegation includes high-ranking officials, underscoring the significance of this visit. After one-on-one talks and bilateral meetings, Prabowo and Macron witnessed the signing of multiple cooperation documents before addressing the press.
Following the Jakarta meetings, Macron and Prabowo will travel to Magelang, Central Java, to visit Borobudur and the Military Academy. This segment of the trip highlights both cultural and defense collaboration, key areas of the strengthened Indonesia-France relationship.
