Long-term goals include fostering international cooperation in the media and communication sectors and promoting positive synergy between foreign and local media in Indonesia.

Novan Ivanhoe Saleh, Assistant Deputy for Public Information and Mass Media, noted that this project provides a vital framework for navigating an increasingly complex world.

“Strong and clear regulations will serve as the legal basis needed to support Indonesia’s stability and credibility on the global stage,” he added.

Minister of Communication and Informatics, Budi Arie Setiadi, in his support video, identified three guiding principles for this initiative: visionary, adaptive, and effective. This project not only addresses current challenges but also prepares Indonesia for future global dynamics, aiming to create sustainable growth in the media and communication sectors.

With a clear direction, this initiative is anticipated to establish a “solid foundation” for the continued development of Indonesia’s media landscape. (Uki Ruknuddin)
