In 2023, bilateral trade between Indonesia and the EAEU reached USD 3.8 billion, with Indonesia exporting palm oil, copra, television equipment, and electrical machinery, while importing coal, fertilizers, semi-finished iron and steel products, and wheat from the EAEU.

The IEAEU-FTA aims to provide better market access, fostering increased trade and economic cooperation between Indonesia and the EAEU. With significant progress already made, the completion of this agreement is anticipated to open new avenues for growth and collaboration, positioning Indonesia as a key player in the Eurasian market.
