ASEAN, RAKYAT NEWS- Allianz Asia Pacific has launched the #SHEsecures initiative aimed at empowering women specializing in marketing and distribution within the insurance industry. The launch took place in Singapore on Thursday (4/7/2024), gathering 60 inspirational female representatives from Allianz agencies in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand.

Ginawati Djuandi, Country Chief Agency Officer of Allianz Life Indonesia, emphasized that the initiative seeks to create an inclusive and collaborative work environment. This aims to address unique challenges faced by women in the highly competitive and complex insurance distribution field.

“At Allianz Indonesia, over half of our marketers are women, with 54% of our Business Partners being empowered women who possess significant potential and competence,” Ginawati stated in a Jakarta press release on Friday.

Under the #SHEsecures program, Allianz will provide specially designed training and educational support, opportunities for enhanced networking, tailored product offerings, productivity-enhancing tools, and more. The comprehensive support aims to empower women in the insurance industry, enabling them to excel in their roles and drive positive change within the sector.

To commemorate the launch of #SHEsecures, 60 inspirational female representatives from Allianz agencies across Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand gathered in Singapore.

Ginawati highlighted that during the event, Allianz celebrated the remarkable contributions of women in insurance distribution. Amidst a rapidly growing Asian market, 59% of Allianz agency leaders and agents are women, contributing 65% to the total annual premiums generated.

Moreover, 70% of Allianz’s qualifiers for the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) are women, underscoring their significant dedication to professionalism. These outstanding individuals play a crucial role in safeguarding millions of families and providing financial freedom to policyholders and clients.
