Indonesia Secures $60 Million to Power Saguling Floating Solar Plant
The International Partners Group (IPG)—comprising nations including Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Norway, and the EU—continues to back Indonesia’s JETP program. In parallel, the Glasgow Financial Alliance for Net Zero (GFANZ) is working to mobilize private sector financing for climate-focused infrastructure in the country.
Germany and Japan have taken leadership of the IPG within Indonesia’s JETP in early 2025. Through GFANZ’s involvement, major institutions like Standard Chartered are helping to raise up to $20 billion in private capital—signaling Indonesia’s rising role as a leader in clean energy development on the global stage.
