Prabowo’s India Trip Yields Six Strategic MoUs for Indonesia
In healthcare, PT Sejahteraraya Anugrahjaya Tbk (Mayapada Healthcare Group) partnered with Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Limited for hospital operation and maintenance in Batam, as well as digital diagnostic initiatives. Meanwhile, Nodeflux and XDXLink agreed on a joint project involving low-earth orbit satellites, AI technology, disaster response, food security, mining surveillance, and environmental sustainability.
The vaccine sector also saw a major agreement, with Biotis—producer of Indonesia’s Merah Putih vaccine—partnering with Biological E to develop vaccines and facilitate technology transfer from India to Indonesia. This deal is expected to enhance Indonesia’s vaccine production capabilities.
With these agreements, Indonesia and India reaffirm their commitment to deepening economic ties and fostering innovation across various industries. The successful visit marks a significant step in strengthening bilateral cooperation and driving economic growth in both countries. (Uki Ruknuddin)
