Budi acknowledged the importance of international collaboration to address these challenges. He commended Indonesia’s ability to remain free from terrorist acts, crediting the success to robust partnerships among stakeholders, including government agencies, civil society, and international allies.

The minister reiterated Indonesia’s commitment to combating terrorism, particularly through countering radical narratives and enhancing cyber vigilance. The evolving threats demand adaptive strategies, especially as terror groups increasingly exploit digital platforms for recruitment and propaganda.

Budi stressed the urgency of continued international dialogue and cooperation to tackle terrorism’s transnational nature. “We must strengthen our resilience and remain united in safeguarding peace and security, both at home and globally,” he affirmed. (Uki Ruknuddin)
