As part of the investigation, 69 Indonesians have been deported from the Philippines, and two individuals have been charged with organizing these illegal operations. The police are focusing on these cases to establish a clearer understanding of the trafficking routes and the individuals involved.

The repatriation process for affected nationals will occur in stages, with the first group of 35 individuals scheduled to return soon. This group consists of eight women and 27 men, with flights arranged for Jakarta, Medan, and Manado beginning on October 22, 2024.

The first repatriation flight will transport 10 individuals, followed by additional flights scheduled for October 23, 2024. These flights will facilitate the return of more citizens from various locations, ensuring that they are safely brought back to Indonesia.
