JAKARTA, RAKYAT NEWS– The Bahrain Indonesia Business and Friendship Society recently hosted the event “Bahrain, Pearl of the Middle East” at the H.B. Jassin Literary Documentation Center in Taman Ismail Marzuki on Sunday, October 12, 2024.

The event welcomed representatives from various provinces in Indonesia, with a particular focus on West Sulawesi. Gemilang Sukma Mutiara Maryani, Head of the West Sulawesi Provincial Liaison Agency, attended on behalf of Acting Governor Bahtiar Baharuddin, accompanied by Nurul Farasmy, Subdivision Head for Promotion, Data, and Information.

Following a presentation from the West Sulawesi delegation, the Bahraini Embassy expressed interest in visiting the province.

“They were quite impressed with our presentation and expressed a desire to visit West Sulawesi directly,” noted Gemilang, Head of Banhub Sulbar.

The Head of the West Sulawesi Liaison Agency presented the 2024 Investment Guide Book from the Provincial Investment and One-Stop Services Agency, hoping for a prompt response from the Bahraini Embassy.

“We hope for a quick response regarding the Investment Guide Book 2024,” he added.

He emphasized the potential for investment in the education sector, particularly for master’s and doctoral programs, aimed at enhancing the competencies of civil servants. “It’s essential that as the community advances in education, our public servants keep pace”
